Review: Andrélon magnificent straight

I was inspired by my fourteen year old teenage sister to do this review about heat protection for your hair, because she straightens her hair every single day. And I think it's such a waste of her hair, because she got this really thick wavy voluminous hair, so I bought her this product: Andrelon magnificent straight: Heat protection mist. My sister is not satisfied with her hair at all, it's like the straighter the better. I knew she would never stop straightening her hair, so I had to protect it.

To be really honest, I had my doubts about this product and I still have. My sister uses this heat protection every day before straightening her hair, but I just don't think it really works. Her hair still looks very dull (don't let her read this)..
I decided to try this product by myself. Even though I almost never straighten my hair, I had to do it to know if this stuff really worked. I have to say that it smells great but for me it just didn work. I prefer to just not straighten my hair, to avoid annoying dead ends and dull/dry hair and that's also my advice to you guys. Since I stopped with punishing my hair and I began to wash it with Aussie (I know, I'm a big fan) my big hudge fluff ball on my head has turned into soft, healthy looking hair.

So guys, take care of your hair and don't punish it too much. If you decide that you're going to punish it, use this heat protection before doing it. This product cost me €4,79 ($6,07).

Party last night

Graduation means: lots of partys
So last night I went to the graduationparty of my 'old' classmate, and it was so much fun. Although it's hard to control the alcohol after such a long time 'non-drinking', everyone was having fun and I felt myself fresh and good in my new outfit, except.. the day after. I'm pretty tired right now. I still have no plans for tonight, all I know is that the sun is shining! Wow! It's a miracle.
Can't wait to hear all your party stories!

Small Primark purchases

Hey sweeties,

Last week I went to Zaandam to buy some stuff for my graduation, and of course I had to take a visit to the Primark. My boyfriend hates it though, but I can't help it. It's like the store has a amazing strong attraction power, and though I tryd to stop it, it's a useless attempt. When I'm inside, my mind goes crazy. There's SO MUCH STUFF! I knew I didn't had a big wallet, which meant I wasn't able to spend too much money. So I bought some little things, so that I could satisfy myself, even if it was just a little bit. I bought two pair of earrings (gold and silver), a white shirt, facial tissues and a mascara. I'm happy with all the stuff, except the mascara. But I already expected this because it only cost me € 1.50 ($1,90).

Facial cleansing wipes twin pack €1,50
Volume boost mascara €1,50

Earrings €2,- a pair

Finally I bought some facial wipes. I always used my sisters wipes (hello stingy Dutch girl). So tonight I have a graduation party of my class mate, so I can wear my new clothes. All new and fresh. Great feeling. I'm so happy that school is finally over, and that I made it! Now I can completely focus myself on my journey to New-Zeeland. I already picked up my new passport today. Yeahhh. Well girls, I'm going to get changed, have a great weekend all of you! I'm ready to hear all of your going-out-weekend-stories!

Shirt €11,-

Preparing for my graduation tonight

Hey girls!

So tonight is my graduation, and I want everything to be 'perfect'. Two days ago I bought my graduation dress, and today I took an extra long shower, washed my hair with the love of my life Aussie, enjoyed my face mask, and I found the perfect accessories to combine with the dress. The only thing I'm scared of is to walk on stage with my black high heels.. We'll see.

No work today, please

Hey girls,

When I woke up I had a plan: no work today, I thought. I still had to settle lots of things for New-Zealand, so I decided to skip work today and to do some stuff! And I did. Now I'm tired and I sit on the couch with a headache. I already woke up at half past 5 in the morning *yawn*.
So first I had to go to the Doctor to arrange a statement for my medication, and I still had to apply for a passport -because my parents never had got the idea to go on holiday to a 'far away country'-. So this is going  to be my first passport, and my first time flying.. wish me luck in November.
My boyfriend feels really sad that he can't see me for 12 months.. I think that's going to be the hardest thing to do: to leave my friends, family and boyfriend for such a long time. I still have to apply for a working holiday visa. There are so many things I have to do which I never thought that I would ever need to do! And stuff like health insurance, and that when I leave Holland for longer than eight months I'm officially not longer a resident of the Netherlands, so then I'm actually nothing..
But I'll spare you the details of everything I did today for New-Zealand.

After the pretty tiresome stuff, I went to the local shopping center with the car to relax a little bit. I was looking for some MAC make-up, but they hardly sell it at here, so I have to go to Amsterdam to buy my almost new obsession. Well, things can be worse. Amsterdam is a lovely city and perfect for a shopping-day, so I'm not complaining at all!

Actually, I have to work today from 6 to 9. Only 3 hours, I think I can handle that! The Aquarius sports drink has to help to keep me awake!
Oh, and some people asked if it was my wallpaper on my previous post, and yes it is. I have a 'woodsy' bedroom, so it's decorated in this theme, and very soothing indeed!

EK 2012

Hey girls,

Unfortunately, the Netherlands has just lost for the third time, which means that we didn't made it to the quarterfinals. But we had a great time while it lasted..

Fashion: Mysterious and chic

Hey girls,

The great thing about having a teenage sister with a good taste of clothes, is that we can share so that we can create even more different outfits! So today I 'barrowed' my sisters dark blue Primark blouse with golden buttons, which I combined with black trousers and a golden bracelet, and of course, high black heels. Comments are welcome!
With love,

Pretty and healthy

Lovely readers,

Today was such a relaxing day, I've been to the parents of my sister in law, who have a sunbed. So I tried to cultivate a bit of a tan on my skin, which is really hard because it's so light. In addition to the attempt to obtain pigment, I find it very important to be healthy from the inside. Also this is really hard for me, because I lovee sweets. So my mother and I bought some fruit and vegetables and made a fruit basket. And of course, we also bought some NEW-ZEALAND kiwi's. Yummm.
Well sweeties, I'm going to continue my excellent relaxing day, enjoy this fresh new week.
With lots of love,

New-Zealand, not that easy

Lovely readers,

I have 6 months to organize my journey to New-Zealand. But you can't go visit New-Zealand for a year that easy. I have to fill in all those forms and stuff to apply for a Working Holiday visa.. in English. Hope that everything will work!

New hair! / My hairextensions

Hey girls!

Now that my exams are over I have much more time to do fun things. So Last Thursday I got my drivers license, yaayy! I stared at it for like an hour. I can't believe that I'm actually allowed to hit the road legal.. and last Wednesday I went to the hairdresser, who dyed my hair BLOND with high- and lowlights (thanks for all your votes!). So now I have blond hair with caramel strands. I made some pictures of my hair blond and my clip-in hair extensions. Those extensions were in my closet for like a year, because I thought those clips were annoying and besides I wanted long hair myself. I don't wear them anymore, I just let my hair grow. The extensions costed me €180,- ($224,19 (US)) and my previous extensions also costed me something like that. I know, waste of money. The pictures I made are not the best out there, but I'm too lazy to make pictures again! And I didn't brushed the extensions, so now you know why they look a little weird and tangled, and why you can see my own hair trough the extensions and blah blah. If you have questions about your newly purchased hair, I'm there. I had all kind of extensions so trust me babe, you can ask.
